As you probably know, all of our air purifiers are all equipped with a multi-layer filter which must be changed regularly to ensure optimal filtration.
On average, and for standard use, the filters of the AERO 100 and PRO 150 models should be changed every year. As for the filter of the AIRVIA CAR model, it is necessary to replace it every 6 months.
Our filters are a combination of technologies: they are composed of a plastic band, a metal grid, and several layers of filtration (plant fibre pre-filter, HEPA H13 certified filter, activated carbon, and photocatalysis). They are sturdy and can be changed by yourself in no time.

How do I know when I need to change my filter?
It is not always clear when the filter’s life cycle is coming to an end as no indication of wear is present on the filter or even on the pre-filter.
The AIRVIA tip: it's time to change the filter when the purified air takes on a slight earthly odour. This is caused by the presence of the bamboo fibre in the filter. Another indicator that never fails is the control terminal: if you notice that the air pollution does not go down as low as before after prolonged use, it is time to change the filter.
With these two quick tips, you'll know when it's time to change your air purifier's filter.
